Did you know you can purchase gift cards for our on-line store. These have been recently upgraded, so here is the low down.
Once you have filled in the recipient details, and pressed the "buy" button, your purchase will show up in a separate cart, and you can pay with your preferred method of payment. You are unable to purchase a gift certificate with reward points.
You will receive notification that your order has been received, and your recipient will receive an email notification that looks like this:
Note: I sent this from myself - to myself. When you purchase a gift card your name show after "Enjoy your gift". If you would like your gift recipient to receive this on a specific future date, there is a spot on the form for you to indicate this.
Redeeming the Gift Card:
When your recipient is ready to redeem the gift card, they will go to their shopping cart to complete the purchase. They will not enter the card # on this page, but they will proceed to checkout. (the promo or certificate # on this page is for discount codes offered by Scrappers' Cove or manual gift certificates, not Gift cards..)
On checkout:
On the payment section they will click "redeem a gift card", copy and paste the code from their email and apply. If they are making a larger purchase, they can pay the balance by using their preferred method of payment.
This is a long drawn out explanation, but these cards are easy to give and fun to receive. You still do have the option of getting a manual gift certificate. Contact me with the details and I can make one up for you to present in person.
