Cards of Thanksgiving

Sunflowers in a pot
Sunflower Greeting Card

Hope you are enjoying the start to this gorgeous Thanksgiving weekend. Do get out and enjoy the sunshine. The autumn season, with its vibrant colors and abundant harvests, always inspires me to create. Today, I bring you three cards to celebrate the essence of Fall.

I started with a rubber stamp from Penny Black. I chose a sunflower, but you could use any fall flower. It was coloured with alcohol ink markers, then "potted" in a hand cut pot. The big, bold sentiment (from Riley and Company) is one that I rarely use, but thought it perfect for this card. Of course, some cards aren't finished until you add a bit of bling!

Here are two more cards. These look a bit muted in the photo, but they are actually quite vibrant. Wish you could see them in real life...These were created from a combination of Prima Marketing paper, Simple Stories tags and bits, Graphic 45 bling and, on the 2nd card, the same Penny Black sunflower stamp.
