I love making tags. They allow for lots of creativity, layering and bulk. For this card I used rice paper from Stamperia. I used texture paste to adhere the rice paper. Then I loaded on some Distress Texture Crackle Paste from Tim Holtz/Ranger. It took only a few hours to dry and crackle (love the crackle). I edged with distress ink (wilted violet, shaded lilac and mermaid lagoon)
I used leftover piece of rice paper to cut the lavendar spears and stamp the butterfly. The sentiment tag comes from Kaisercraft. I decided to add some prills instead of bling. The tag was mounted on some dark purple cardstock from Bazzill Paper. Then I added raffia ribbon and satin ribbon to tie everything together. The finished tag measures 3 x 6.5 inches.
I have not done a lot of mixed media in past - might have to get more into it!
