There is something alluring about the moon. Full moon, new moon, blue moon, harvest moon... It has so many aspects to wonder about. These cards are inspired by the Moon & Me paper collection from Ciao Bella. It took me a while to get into this, but now that I have started working with it my imagination is working overtime. This paper is all about dreaming, wishing, hoping, drifting. It takes your mind to new places and helps you look beyond the moment. I am in love with the Moon & Me.
Here is another card made with the same collection:
This cute card is made from a journal card and some fuzzy cut elements. I printed Faith with a gel pen and then pulled the gel through with distress ink. The small kitty is hoping for a catch. Not sure if he will be successful or not...
One last card for you today:
This card was made for my daughter, who will have her first art show at Pynelogs Cultural Center this coming August (it starts August 25, so if you are in the area, stop by and check it out). I used lots of shimmer mist and silver gel pen dots, which unfortunately are not visible in the photo. Nevertheless, it is a shimmery, shiny card and I know she will love it!
The inside of this card has a pop out sentiment tag, which I added with a Karen Burniston Rockin` Rectangle Pop Up Die. It adds a bit more fun, and the sentiment is perfect for an artist.
All of these cards were made with Moon & Me paper pack, by Ciao Bella, and backed onto Card Shoppe cardstock by Bazzill Basics. I also add Frost Shimmer Mist from Imagine Crafts, Distress inks from Ranger/Tim Holtz and Mercury Glass Stickles from Ranger, and the die from Karen Burniston which is the Rockin`Rectangle Pop Up Die. You can purchase these products on our website; use the menu buttons at the top of your page.
Hoping for a moonlit night, but first the skies will have to clear up.
Enjoy the rest of your long weekend!
