Ciao Bella is one of my favorite paper producers. The company is based in Italy, and true to the Italian nature they add a bit of romance and intrigue to every single one of their collections.
I have been working with Under the Tuscan Sun, deliciously enticing papers of Tuscan scenery showcasing wildflowers, gardens and autumn harvest. I was inspired by a friend who has been sharing photos during her tour of the Italian countryside.
Here are some closeups:
For these cards I used background images, tags and some fussy cut elements. The sentiments are BoBunny stickers - Soiree. I added some dimensional dots with a Viva Pearl Pen and Nuvo Jewel Drops. Every piece was heavily edged with Vintage Photo distress ink.

I generally have a creative block when it comes to Sympathy cards, but this paper gave me the inspiration I needed. The poppy images are magnificent. For the card on the left I added a die cut sentiment from Dee's Dies, a length of satin ribbon and Nuvo Jewel Drops. The card on the right has a stamped sentiment from Creative Expressions, corrugated and gold mirror stars cut from Spellbinders die, attached with twine.
I plan to use more of these papers to make some wine cards, and will likely sip a bit of Italian wine in the process... Hope you have a beautiful autumn day, and are inspired to make!
All cards are backed onto heavy cardstock, from Bazzill Cardshoppe and My Colors cardstock.
