I am taking a step back in time to create some vintage valentine cards with lovely Prima Marketing papers. There is not a spot of red to be seen. I chose papers from the Rossibelle collection and the Wild and Free collection. Both are filled with beautiful images, journal tags and rose gold foil elements.
The first card (with the portrait) was made with journal tags and cut images from Wild and Free. I added ribbon, a prima flower, stamped butterfly and acrylic heart. Love the sentiment "Hello I Love You" from the lyrics of a song released by The Doors in 1968!
The second card (with the hanging planters) is a mix of tags and images from both collections. Rossibelle papers are made in a different shade, so I distressed cut images with a mix of Black Soot and Vintage Photo ink. Then added a stamped dragonfly and an acrylic heart. This one has quite a bit of rose gold; unfortunately, it is difficult to see in the photo.
Prima Marketing creates papers and embellishments in a variety of themes. There are also crystals, pastes, powders, stamps, etc. Have a look at these gorgeous collections:
Products: Papers from Prima Marketing (and unknown today paper), Tim Holtz/Ranger distress inks, stamps from Deep Red Stamps and Unity Stamp Co., Creative Expressions ribbon, Fabscraps hearts, Prima flowers and Bazzill Cardstock.
Happy Valentines Day to those who celebrate. And happy day to all.
